Connecting People with New Realities

People love new experiences. In a world where it’s becoming harder to get attention and build relationships with people, organisations need cool new ways to engage with them.

Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg, Google founder Larry Page, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella and Apple’s Tim Cook all agree. AVR could change the way we use computers.

AVR is already being used in industries like engineering, real estate and healthcare. It is transforming fashion, tourism and retail, too. Global brands like LEGO, adidas and IKEA are using AVR to get the edge on their competition.

See how you can use AVR to engage with your audience in more immersive ways.

What is AVR?

Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) can be described as two regions within a ‘digital reality’ world. A digital reality world is one in which technology has been used to change the way we experience things.

AVR has incredible potential to connect with audiences, as VR headsets and AR screens become increasingly immersive and more affordable.

AR places digitally-produced objects and information over a real world view. You can look at a distant mountain range and AR can overlay pictures and information about temperature, height above sea level and more onto your digital screen.

VR is used to immerse users in a completely digital environment. You can be standing in your lounge and your VR headset can make you feel like you’re at the top of Mt Everest.

MR is like AR, but goes further. You can actually interact with the images and text that are placed over the top of your real world view.

What ideas are connecting with audiences?

Below are interesting ways we’ve seen organisations using AVR to win over audiences.

Find better ways to connect with audiences at an Accuteque AVR Workshop.

AR, VR, MR – which approach is right for your organisation?

It depends on what you want it to achieve. Do you want better ways to engage your audience? How about virtual testing to drive customer interest before you launch a new product? Do you want to be seen as a progressive brand to attract new employees?

What you need is to get your team into the right environment. We run specialty workshops to educate organisations on the potential of AVR and inspire solutions for how best to harness this exciting new technology.

Accuteque AVR Workshop

This day-long workshop is more than just an introduction to the digital realities available to you. During the session, you and your team will:

  1. Identify – What problems do you want to solve? How will you measure the outcome?
  2. Inspire – Working in teams, you’ll brainstorm different solutions.
  3. Ideate – Experiment using collective hands-on prototyping.
  4. Implement – Use Accuteque’s knowledge of cross disciplinary stakeholders to create a fit-for-purpose solution.
  5. Impress – Build a business case to pitch to your leadership team.

Your own prototype

At the end of the workshop, Accuteque will design a working prototype of one of your workshopped solutions to use as part of your business case. A prototype gives your business something tangible to test. These tests will tell you what needs refining before you take the next step in making your idea a reality.
